- If a person in class 10 or more pass, he should give a copy of the marksheet of class 10, if it contains date of birth as a proof of date of birth

Step 1: You can apply via the regional website of your state which list is shared below at the end of the post however you can directly access the official website of National Voter’s Service Portal (NVSP): NVSP.IN
Step 2: You will be redirect to official portal of NVSP here on the home page you can see the option “Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC” click on it as shown in this image.
Step 3: Now you will redirect to “Form 6” page this form is available Hindi, English & Malyalam language you choose the language as per your choice and convenience.
Step 4: Fill all the details accordingly (fields with asterisk * ) are mandatory you have to enter your

- Address Details
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
Step 5: After filling the said details upload your photograph, dob certificate & address proof accordingly.

Here is How to Apply New Voter ID Card Offline
Step 1: Get an application form from the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of your own constituency, or the Booth Level Officers of your polling station. This form is free of cost.
Step 2: Alternatively you can download the form from the website of the Election Commission here: Form 6
Step 3: Fill and submit the Form 6 along with the needed documents to the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of your constituency or the Booth Level Officers of your polling station.
Step 4: After the successful form submission BLO will visit your residence address for verification purpose and then resubmit your details to CEO West Bengal.
