Step 1: The first step of the process is to find the website for the Chief Electoral Officer in Andhra Pradesh. After finding the website, visit the website and if in case you are not able to find the website then click on this link –http://www.ceoandhra.nic.in/

Step 2: Here you have to click on “NVSP Service Portal” link which can see on left hand side section you have to scroll down for it.

Step 3: Now you will be redirect to NVSP official web portal or can directly access it from here: http://www.nvsp.in/

Step 4: On this portal, click on the link for “Apply online for registration of new voter/due to shifting from AC” which will basically take you to the online version of Form 6.

Step 5: Here on Form 6 you have to choose your State, District, Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency accordingly.

Step 6: If you are applying for first time then choose the option “As a First Time Voter” otherwise “due to shifting from another constituency” accordingly.

Step 7: Fill your Name, Relative Name, Relation Type, Date of Birth, Current Address & Permanent Address of your Home, Email ID, Mobile Number.

Step 8: Now the next column is “Upload Supporting Document (Supported formats .jpg,.png,.bmp,.jpeg)(max. 2MB)” here you have to upload your Photograph, Agre Proof & Address Proof the list of documents is already shared above.

Step 9: Fill the “Declaration” box mentioned your town / city, state, district, date, Place, date and captcha code in prescribe box and hit the “Submit” button.

Note: It should be noted that you would not be able to correct the details in the form after submitting it and hence be very careful about what you will. Verify the details if required

Step 10: After filling the form and submitting the details a you will be redirect to new page which will display your application reference number which can be used for tracking the application status as well.

Congratulations you have successfully applied for new voter id card in the later stage of the process, an officer (BLO) might visit you at the residential address provided by you in the form to confirm your identity and the voter card will be issued post verification. The maximum time taken in completion of the process is 60 days.
