Eligibility Criteria for Voter ID Card in Rajasthan

Every Indian citizen who has attained the age of 18 years on the qualifying date i.e. first day of January of the year of revision of electoral roll, unless otherwise disqualified, is eligible to be registered as a voter in the roll of the part/polling area of the constituency where he is ordinarily resident.

Here is How to Apply New Voter ID Card in Rajasthan Online

CEO Portal Rajasthan – To follow the online process of applying for the voter ID card in Rajasthan, you must first visit the CEO Portal of Rajasthan. CEO Rajasthan stands for Chief Electoral Officer Rajasthan. This website will take you ahead in your journey of applying for the voter ID card. National Voter’s Services Portal – Once you are on the website, you will notice that on the right hand side of the screen, there is Citizen Centre. Under this Citizen Centre, there would be many options but the first option would be for NVSP. Click on that option and you will be taken to National Voter’s Services Portal

Completing Form 6 – Once you are on the NVSP, you need click on the online registration button to start applying for the voter ID card. The button will redirect you to Form 6 and you would need to submit this form to apply for the voter ID card. You can also provide the voter ID card number of your parents in order to expedite the process of verification.

Submitting Documents – After filling in the details in the form, you would have to go ahead and upload the documents on the same page. The documents are required to verify your age and address so you would have to upload an age proof and an address proof. In addition to this, you would also have to upload a photo of yourself which will be printed on the Voter ID card.

Submitting the Form – Once you have completed the form, you go to the top of the page and start verifying all the details again. Be sure that all the details entered by you are correct. Once that is done, you can go to the bottom of the page and click on the submit button. Once the form is submitted, you will receive an application number on the page. Note down the application number and keep it safe.

Issuance of Voter ID – After the submission of the form, the details will be shared with the CEO Rajasthan and the officers will start verifying the details uploaded by you in the form. Once the details are verified, an officer will pay up a visit to your residential address to confirm your identity. After all these formalities are done, the voter ID will be issued to you it will be mailed to you.

Here is How to Apply New Voter ID Card in Rajasthan Offline

Step 1: Get an application form from the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of your own constituency, or the Booth Level Officers of your polling station. This form is free of cost.

Step 2: Alternatively you can download the form from the website of the Election Commission here: Form 6

Step 3: Fill and submit the Form 6 along with the needed documents to the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of your constituency or the Booth Level Officers of your polling station.

Step 4: After the successful form submission BLO will visit your residence address for verification purpose and then resubmit your details to CEO Rajasthan.
