Here is How to Apply New Voter ID Card in Manipur Online

  • To apply for Voter ID card in Manipur you need to first go to the Chief Electoral Officer Manipur Website. The link to the website is http://ceomanipur.nic.in/ and you will find all the information regarding the elections on this website.
  • Once the website is displayed completely, scroll down a little and you will see a button for Online Registration. Click on this button and you will automatically be taken to the NVSP. NVSP stands for National Voter Services Portal and this is the unified portal for providing all voter related services to Indians. You can also skip the first step and go to the portal directly with help of the link nvsp.in
  • On the National Voter’s Services Portal, click on the Online Voter Registration button and you will now see form 6 on your screen. This form is to include the name in the electoral roll and to get your Voter ID card issued.
  • Now, you can fill the details in the form and you would be needed to fill in your personal details in the form. It is not mandatory to enter your email ID and phone number but it is better to enter these details on the portal.
  • At the bottom of the form, you will notice that there is space provided to upload the document proofs. There are three types of documents required here and the types of documents you would require are mentioned below
    • Address Proof – Passport, Driving Licence, Bank Passbook, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Rent Agreement, ITR, and Utility Bill.

  • On submission, the screen will display an acknowledgment number and this number is sort of important because it makes it possible for you to track the form in future.
