Eligibility Criteria for Voter ID Card in Goa

Every Indian citizen who has attained the age of 18 years on the qualifying date i.e. first day of January of the year of revision of electoral roll, unless otherwise disqualified, is eligible to be registered as a voter in the roll of the part/polling area of the constituency where he is ordinarily resident.

Here is How to Apply New Voter ID Card in Goa Online

  • Visit the CEO Portal of Goa – To apply for Voter ID Card through Online Portal, you would need to visit the official CEO Portal at Goa. The full form of CEO is Chief Electoral Officer and they manage all the data as well as services related to elections.   • Find the Form 6 – Now, you need to find the Form 6 on this website. There are two ways to get to the Form 6. The first way is to simply scroll down and find the button for Include Your Name. When you click on this button, Form 6 will be displayed automatically. The second way to find the form 6 is to click on the Services Button from the top Menu Bar and then Select Online Applications. A list forms will be displayed and then you need to click on Include Your Name. This will also redirect you to Form 6.
  • Fill the Form 6 – This is the only form that needs to be filled for applying for a voter ID card so you can now start filling this form with all the data. Do not skip any of the mandatory fields.
  • Upload Required Documents – Towards the end of the form, there is a designated area to upload your documents and in this area, you would need to upload two documents along with your photograph. These documents are age proof and address proof. Also, select the correct document type in the corresponding field.
  • Submit the Form – Your job is almost done and all you need to do now is that you need to review the form and click on submit button. On successful submission, a reference ID will be generated and make a note of this ID. This ID can be used to track the status of the Voter ID Card.

Here is How to Apply New Voter ID Card in Goa Offline

Step 1: Get an application form from the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of your own constituency, or the Booth Level Officers of your polling station. This form is free of cost.

Step 2: Alternatively you can download the form from the website of the Election Commission here: Form 6

Step 3: Fill and submit the Form 6 along with the needed documents to the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of your constituency or the Booth Level Officers of your polling station.

Step 4: After the successful form submission BLO will visit your residence address for verification purpose and then resubmit your details to CEO Goa.
